Kenta Hamabe moved to Spain to become a football coach with strong passion after graduating from Nagasaki Prefectural Sasebo Kita High School and Osaka University of Arts.
He studied at Jesuïtes Sarrià - Sant Ignasi and completed the Professional Master in Football (a master's course in partnership with FC Barcelona) at INEFC Master.
Whilst studying coaching science, he worked as an assistant coach and a fitness coach at CE Sabadell's academy (U12, U14) and CE Mercantil's academy (U14, U16, U19).
Kenta obtained the Catalan Football Federation Level 2 Coaching Licence (equivalent to the UEFA-A Licence).
In 2020, he joined Jubilo Iwata as a Spanish interpreter, supporting Paraguayan fitness coach and Argentine player.
From 2021, he also worked as a fitness coach and contributed to won J2 league.
He left the club after J1 League 2022 season.
Kenta has been working as a fitness coach for Montedio Yamagat since 2023 season.
