While playing for Maebashi Ikuei High School but suffering repeated injuries, Shuta decided to become a football coach.
He studied mainly coaching, physical, psychology, analysis, scouting and sociology at Football Studies course in the Southampton Solent University and obtained FA Psychology level 4.
Shuta also worked as a scout and coach for local teams and as an individual analyst for a Japanese player who was playing in Europe.
In 2021 he returned to Japan and worked for Kagoshima United FC as an interpreter and assistant coach for the manager Arthur Papas.
Shuta worked as analyst for Nagoya Grampus and helped for winning the J.League YBC Levain Cup in 2024 season after worked as analyst for Montedio Yamagata in 2022 and 2023 season.
He has been working as an analyst at Cerezo Osaka since 2025 season.
