Keita Takahata is an up-and-coming young left footed player who can play both midfielder and defender on the left side. He can control a game with his superb vision and precise passing skills, also is gifted with a massive stamina which allows him dynamic overlaps.
Keita grew up in the academy of Oita Trinita from the U-15 and promoted to the top team in 2019.
Made his J1 league debut on the second match of 2019 season in March and played 14 matches for Oita Trinita during that season.
He was on loan to Gainare Tottori from September 2019 for further development and instantly became one of the team’s key players.
In 2020 season, Keita was back to his home club Oita Trinita.
He played 38 league matches with 4 goals and 5 assists in 2023 season.
Keita has moved to J1 side Júbilo Iwata in 2024.
