Shin played for Toin Yokohama University after spent at Kawasaki Frontale U-15 and U-18 team.
He has joined Kawasaki Frontale in 2023 season as a No.1 striker of university football after won All Japan University Football Championship and MVP of the competition.
Shin contributed to winning the Emperor's Cup in 2023 and scored 19 goals in J1 league in 2024, establishing himself as a top striker.
He moved to Celtic FC as a permanent deal after playing as a member of Japan national team for the first time for him in 2025.
