Kota Yamada is promising central midfielder gifted with fine technique, great vision and precise passing and shooting skills

He made his first-team debut in the League Cup in 2017 when he was still a member of Yokohama F Marinos academy team and earned himself a professional contract with Yokohama F Marinos in 2018.
In April that year, Kota made his J1 debut at the match against Kashima Antlers.
He has been playing for the national team on age groups, appeared in all 4 Japan matches at FIFA U-20 World Cup 2019 as a starter, scored one goal and thus massively contributed for the team to went through to the knock out stage.
In August 2019, he moved to Nagoya Grampus on loan for further development.
He was on loan to J2 side Mito Hollyhock and played 35 matches.
Kota was on loan to Montedio Yamagata in 2021 and played all 42 league matches.
In 2022 he moved to Yamagata on a permanent transfer and played as a vital player with number 10.
He moved to J1 side Kashiwa Reysol on a permanent deal in 2023.
Kota has moved to Gamba Osaka in 2024.
